Fourth of July Fireworks Plate

A hand painted wooden plate features a primitive folk art Americana landscape. It’s Independence Day in a country village where people have gathered for a picnic and to watch a bright and colorful fireworks display.

There are saltbox houses, a weathered barn, and American flags waving in the wind. Three Canada geese are floating on a pond, and a dog and cat join in the fun.

The plate measures about 11.5 inches in diameter. It has been signed sealed with matte varnish. The back of the plate is painted a mottled dark blue.

This design can be adapted to a variety of surfaces, including wood bowls, trays, footstools, basket lids, boxes, breadboards, and canvas panels.
