What’s For Dinner?

dinnertimeplate2The hand painted original design on this wooden plate features my original Halloween folk art design.

Three hungry black cats, bibs securely in place, wait impatiently as a witch, ghost and pumpkinhead cook up a delicious green stew in a huge cauldron.

A bright moon shines in the star-filled sky as an owl and crow watch, perhaps hoping for a sample.

This plate is painted in primitive colors of yellow, orange, tan, green and black.

The plate is signed and sealed with matte finish. It measures 11 1/2 inches in diameter and the back of the plate is black.

This plate is intended for decorative use only, but if it’s used to serve unwrapped food, I recommend covering the plate with plastic wrap to preserve its finish.

This item would be a great addition to your own Halloween folk art collection, or perfect to fill with goodies and use for a gift.

The design on this plate can be adapted for other surfaces, such as wood bowls, trays, baskets or basket lids.
